There were a lot of awesome pictures from 2009 but I was rambling about how excited I've been about the fancy pants camera and I might as well show some of the good ones that have been taken lately. They don't tend to get posted in FB albums or sent to people. "Hey, check out this HOT picture of a tree I took..." Yeah, no.

I'm learning that taking photos is like golf. You can get frustrated with shot after shot that isn't capturing exactly what you're hoping to see and then boom, you get that 1 shot, or the string of shots that remind you of why you like to do it.

Nice shots! You make me want to buy a better camera for better pictures. (Now how to try and sneak that past the wife.)
Thanks and good luck on getting it past the wife. Even the entry level ones (like I bought) aren't cheap. Yikes.
